Tones For Your Bones: Connecting with Others
Time & Location
About The Event
Tones for Your Bones has been a hands on workshop/experience offered in many place in the U.S and Mexico for many years and is now a virtual online experience. Led by Acupunturist, Qi-gong practitioner and percussionist Li-Lan Hsiang Weiss in collaboration with composer/multi instrumentalist and storyteller Alex Weiss.
"Where connection goes, Energy Flows": Li-Lan will facilitate a Qi Gong practice where you can start to feel the interchange of energy with others (an interesting dynamic over zoom!)
They will then present the connectedness of African cultures to popular music of North America.
You'll be intrigued to see how this versatile duo weaves together ancient Chinese principles & timeless songs for this month's theme of Connectedness!
Alex's beautiful website Silent Dayze Music has a page for Tones for your Bones with videos of the music that we incorporate into the live five week course: https://www.silentdayzemusic.com/tones-for-your-bones
